Doesn't find VS2008 snippets

description

I've just unzipped and run the Snippet Editor (using 'Run as Administrator') and it's not finding the VS2008 snippets. The only item in the dropdown is 'SnippetEditor.Utility.Product'. Have I done something wrong, or have I not done something necessary?

I had the same problem with Windows XP. I downloaded the source code and had to adjust the code in 3 places where Object Not Set to an Instance of an Object occured. Now it works, but I have two folders labeled 131 in my list. It was looking up registry entries that apparently don't exist in XP. I attached the final executable in case you want to try it. Just replace the exe in the folder and leave everything else.

Check to see if you have the ASP.Net Futures May 2007 installed. I had the same problem and after uninstalling the ASP.Net Futures, everything worked fine.
